is there no1 on here close to me to help me out

too far for me, but it is quite easy to do. my wife helps me, she sits in a chair, rest the bird on her knees facing away from her parts the feathers then with a shakey hand i jab it. i will be vaccination my birds for paratyphoid in 8 days, if it helps i will film it and put it on youtube.

Amar, are you a member of a club?

I don't know if it's different rules but where we are it's usually another Club member who witnesses Vaccination and signs sheet! So therefore they should be able to give you advice!

Just a thought.

Oh I see, sorry.

I was realy wary of injecting the first time (even though I'm a Nurse) but it really is easy, especially if you can get someone to hold the birds, as long as your needles are sharp they easily pierce the skin, no real force needed and you only need to push it in about half way. I know it sound silly but you could practice on a piece of fruit to get a similar sensation to piercing the skin. If I was closer I would come and help.

oficially if you want to show or race pigeons the vaccination should be carried out by two independant people who sign the vacciation sheet failling that you will have to rely on a vet doing the job

You could always ask a vetenary nurse to help, probably cheaper than the main vet!!
