If feeding a lot of barley or wheat what effect would this have on the droppings bigda ?

the first thing if the birds have a upset tummy is you will see no

urine  on the droppings thats the white bit barley ,and wheat sometimes don't make bulk , the droppings you tend to get from barley  is  small black, a bit like budgie sh**  there is nothing wrong with that  type of sh**  as long as you see the white bit,t, the string type is a sort of spaghetti it dose not show urine         its more to do with  the grub not been mulched up

lacking in  grit vitamins  small grain small sh** thats what you

want big grain  big you guest  it  some hens lack grit and thats the most  powerful thing in your loft if some of your birds don't show  good sh** take a pinch of clean grit  and down the throat with it and that can be caused by birds fed to late in the day

THEY ARE STOCK BIRDS SO DON'T GET OUT AND GET FRESH GRIT AND MATRIX EVERYDAY AND OTHER BIRD LOOK AND HANDLE FINE

you can leave grit about, but are they all eating it try some down the throat, then you know they have it, pigeons  will sit hunched up if you let them,   your the gaffer there , give them  what you think they need in the wild  there is  pigeons that have got access  to all the wrong types of grit,  you see them hop about  also, with one leg or stump, so they ain't to bright when it comes to  choice food the  birds in your care  have to have  a1  sh** all the time and not have any bad  longer than a week, or your  on a no win situation, before  you train them, stock birds too are the ones you have to be doubly  carefully with, let the droppings go slack and you let  the season pass you by remember  the pigeon

will show you  it will give you a  dropping with a nice  piece of down on top every time,  not just  one a week  no down  no result :'( :'( ;)
