pigeon walkin with limp

Hi every one can anyone help me one of are pigeons has just started walkin with a limp also cant fly anymore looks ok in her self eating and drinking but walkin realy bad have put bird in isolation, any ideas what it could be. cheers

could be gout or Salmonellosis (Paratyphus)? are the joints swelling or may have bumped itself   what are you feeding ?

Have you just paired her up ?, coming on to lay ? maybe calcium deficiency.

no she has not been pairsd up and i dont think the joints are swole up,

sounds like paratyphus can any vermin get in the loft mice rats etc cos i had this a few year ago caused by this i treat with medpet 4 in 1 and it seem to clear ithope this helps !!

which mix ??? might be worth trying adding some barley if has gout

Sounds like Paratyphus It normally only effects one joint Amoxicillin is a good treatment.

IF ITS JUST LAID IT WILL GO RIGHT IN A WEEK OR SO I HAD THAT BEFORE PIGEON WENT RIGHT ON ITS OWN

hi mate have a look at the joints see if there is any swelling if there is could be signs of calcium dissorda or Paratyphus or have you had the bird out it could of hit the wires if in dowt get it tested mate.
