holmsidelofts Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Am I being stupid but what use are antibiotics for worms which i beleive was your problem? Hi mate. the antibiotics are given to fight off the secondary infection like ecoli which would have taken hold when the birds were that ill. Its standard thing to do when birds are that ill, its gives the bird a chance to recover not only from the worm infection but from the secondary infection. Antibiotics have no use against the worms, which have already been dealt with. Jas.
