hellsbellz Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 Well I've used them this year and haven't had any problems..... but what do I know?!
Guest IB Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 I've got them but have never used them. I rely on garlic in the bath to keep the birds clean. My intention was always to use them as an insecticide only as a last resort. Incidently, if you want to use them as a wormer there's a question-mark over resistance in worms to ivermectin. Seems its a problem known in the farming industry. First picked up this curious one on David Parsons website: http://www.poultryhealthcentre.com/mainpages/Products/Products.htm#worm Ivermectin 1.0% 7 ml spot on in a dropper bottle. Put one drop on the skin at the base of the neck once a week for three consecutive weeks. I have no evidence to suggest that this will also worm your birds.
