im about to canker my birds ,where is the best place to get the treatment you urself uses?

hi strapper you can get canker treatment from most pet shops that supply pigeon products  you can get tablet for such as spartrex or in a soluble form which you put in the water over 5 days

id much prefer to get decent stuff that works ,too much on the market these days that only partly cures this and that,im looking for better /stronger stuff.

Wondered if you were having a problem with full blown canker, or repeat bouts of it? Or is it that have you had a swab test done and the result shows a high trich count?

the above two from hyperdrug are the same as emtryl (dimetridazole)

so don't be fooled in to thinking under the counter is better than over the counter

thanks for the replys, i havent treated for a while ,and i canker every few months. showing symptoms of canker so now im gonna treat them this w/end or early next week.

hi once you have cankered your bird that has canker how long does it useualy take for it to cure it

about 3 days but if it hasn't cleared after that give it another tablet, i use spartrix

i always use tablets that way i know each bird has been treated,that plus the fact that i have read that water based treatment "wears out" if in sunlight,any ideas if this is true?
