This stock cocks top beak has grown past the bottom half and curves down. havent seen it on any of the other birds. Is there any reason, would you ever have to trim a pigeons beak.

i had it years ago with a bird someone told me to snip it i did it nearly bled to deth i must have went up to far had to put super glue on it but that one isnt bad it will only matter if it stops it feeding ally

Rubbing down with sandpaper will do the job.

As far as I remember this technique is used to keep the beaks of certain fancy breeds short.

too late for me now but ive never ben any good at that stuff got to watch its head in the grinder

Never one to use modern techniques I didn't think on power tools.

Just poured a wee dram so will leave the grinder in the van tonight  :P
