I have some very bald heads!! Looking  sorry for themselves. Can hardly see the floor for feathers and I only changed the litter last week. Don't race mine and dont really know about flight feathers sorry  :)

the ones not on darkness are finished the ones on darkness are just starting to lose their cover flights so could be the last race for me but have to wait and see what i get back tomorrow to see how they are for next week only 3 races left now including tomorrows

mine all well in2 the moult now so they been stopped till nxy year now

 

I have my birds for a release business so am wondering how far they can safely fly whilst moulting and approx how long does it take?

me personally i wouldn't send them anywhere if they have only 2 flights to moult and not covered over the head hence thats why a lot of the fanciers that fly natural youngsters are finished racing(not on darkness)

  :) you can still use them for dove release,we have a team of young birds that we put on the dark just for this time of the year ;)

be doing 25miles max, that be o.k? :-/

 

yeah be ok just now bb at that distance but when the 9th/10th flights start to drop leave them in the loft,what time of the year does your business slow down/stop
