ACE LOFTS Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 i dont think there is 1 corn to give to race from 100 - 600 miles westy i can feed widowhood xl "vanrobaeys" from 100 to 400miles but from 400 to 600 miles u wil need to feed somthing heavier lick an irish mix
Guest CS Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 well distances from 100 miles to 600 miles all different feeding, but Koopman only feed ONE-SAME-CORN BAGS all the time for short, middle and long distance... I guess this would be save money to use the same corns all the time...
bluey Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 I use Bamfords Breed and Wean as a base mix and will add Hormoform/linseed 50/50 mix or peanuts or depurative or Bayers whood or G10 pellets depending on what I think they need. I race natural obs and ybs.
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Bamfords Breed and Wean is brilliant never seen better for weaning young uns on
jimmy white Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 hi westy, reckon a good widowhood mix up to 300 miles ,, but differant alltogether with races further than that , when they need the body building food such as beans ,,peanuts etc [higher protein mix]

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Hi Westy, Beans maple peas maiz Geordie the feed i will be using for all races this year is called number 2 and is made by countrywide , contains beans and maples and tares, mostly beans though and will add maize seperately as the races go out farther
blackjack Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Why notjust mix your own the continental mixes are frankly an overpriced indulgence its a lot cheaper and more practical you can adjust the carbohydrates and protiens and seeds as required. Just because it has a fancy continental name its no better .
