have yet to race while trying matrix will tell you at end off season if it makes a difference although birds love it   :)

i cant see how a grit can improve your season. the only  benefit in using the matrix is you know your birds are getting a daily in take of grit.

am not sayin it improved my season read my post .i have grit in front of my pigeons all the time mark and only give them matrix twice a week

good stuff for the breeders a little pricey £5 a tub -- i tend to do what tasker does i buy a bag of grit & add crumble blocks ,picking stones , brewers yeast , red & black minerals , then i give it to the breeders in small amounts fresh every other day i also feed them homaform & mix it with vit energy

wish i knew, because if it did i would be using it, its very expensive and i saw no difference when i tried it, so stopped emptying my pocket and never bought it again

the only thing i found with it tammy is at least you know your birds are getting a daily intake of grit, i found when using ordinary grit they used to nose it all over the floor.

very good stuff but very expensive for grit and i did not see any real difference in the birds condition but the birds love it during the breeding season

Would help if a fuller description of product was given? Don't know what product is tho grit mentioned a few times.

 

See a recent half-page advert in BHW  for 'Gem Matrix' No details given on price but appears to be a lot more than grit in that including seed, so not surprised that birds would scoff it.

I've just started using it and the birds love it notice it contains aniseed through so that could possibly be something to do it with it. I still provide grit and pickstone and give them a small amount of matrix as a treat

We use red grit which has aniseed through, the birds avoided it to start with but they eat as normal now :-/
