NAIL IN CORN

  feeding ybs this morning when i noticed a nail about half inch long i feeding tray...just thought id make members aware so they can keep an eye out themselves...corn was beyers breeding mix...(nail came from the corn,no doubt about it)

Perhaps they had put some iron into it.................

 

Joking aside though, you really do need to be careful what is in there.

unexpected items can be found in anything, processed food etc etc, foreign bodies are usualy one offs, nails probably fallen out of machinery processing/packageing food!

Sounds like the grain may have come from a barn where foriegn objects are common in the storage sheds as they are used for other things when the grain runs out :-/

Make sure you use the nail wisely as it was charged at the same rate as the corn! Lets face it the price of that is in the precious metal catagory thesedays lol
