Dari seeds

First of all a big thanks to all who gave advice on conditioning/trapping mixes. I can get hold of everything except Dari seeds although I have a feeling I might find it at local angling shop seeing as if I remember right fishermen use it as bait.

Anyway..I digress.

Red or white Dari seeds or doesn't it matter?

Also how do I use a trapping mix? Might sound a stupid question but do I just leave it on ground for when they come in or on the trap or give it when all are back etc?

Also one of my birds is missing. I think a cat might have had it or it might just have gone too far and got lost or something..no idea, will keep eye out for it and if and when it comes back..wooohooo pigeon pie !!!!  Just kiddin

depends how your feeding i usualy give in york pots when trapping and use half a level teaspoon each time birds enter loft late birds get nothing they soon learn   white dari or red dari think reds sweeter , but if for young birds make them compete put the same amount but just dari until racing then use the seed mix

I believe white has a slightly higher fat content whilst red is slightly higher in carbs, the energy values are about the same BUT I read somewhere that the Red Dari contains toxins.
