the winter mix is prob. the only mix i dont use as i have found most of the winter mixes very dusty so its my oppinion that its not the best of stuff that goes into them, i prefere useing a good irish mix and add local wheat/barley thats just my views

I used moulting mixture through the winter..Versela Laga ( nice & clean )...but  wasn't frightened to give them a good ration of red band as well !!

i wouldnt give cond.seed through the winter i dont see any need to fire them up at that time of year i do give them it just now but only to try and force my darkness y/birds on in the moult but that will stop soon rest and just good clean feeding is all i give what with the prob. of the birds not getting out as much as i would like (hawks) you allways stand the chance of the birds getting a little fat bbut that can be put right later its the better of two evils
