hi all  ive been gifted ajos thone cock of a mate who,s concentrating more on sprint to middle racing .

i know nothing about this strain otherthan the pigeon called sumo which more often than not is mentioned when the topic comes up.

the pigeon in question is out of a cock called   gouden diego paired onto a daughter of sandora.

the pedigree is full of barcelona winners, more the reason why i said i would try him out .

does any one know what the origins of this line is, it would help when i come to pair up,      thanks   stuart

There's one called Gouden Grijze,

and another called Poco Diego who are both hens

ian staffofd has got the sandora lines but i have never heard of gouden diego. there is a poco diego. who bred the bird?

hi thanks for replies everyone this cock was bred by gerald macpherson its rung with an nehu 2001 bor  ring

gouden diego  is from  belg 875175096  and a hen called  goudklompje also bred in 87  she is dam of  lepton

apparently this cock had only two races before it was sold at a sale in blacpool  its first race was , believe it not new 312 miles , the next race was reims  in 2002 529miles  snfc , still carring 8 nest flights
