Chris, if I could create a system that worked believe me I would!

Im only saying what I believe, if you disagree that's up to you. I can't make PigeonTracker succeed, I can't make any other Courier company succeed. I can only post my opinion :)

have i questioned youer opinion nope my view is directed at everyone on this site who moan there are five yes five centres open soon to be seven have we been asked about them nope think on gents seven centres covering five hundred miles few more well work it out

Worth a try I suppose! :)

I did ask you before, but, what about Couriers? I certainly haven't got time to go collect a Pigeon from let's say 400miles away, stray lofts would be a great idea, just need the Couriers to go with it.

Not on the list that Chris kindly supplied a couple of days ago.

Has this changed? Or do we need to target Welsh fanciers?

sorry I haven't been on here last few days, my pc crashed so didn't see Chris's post, I don't think there are any, pjc was on about something but he's in west wales, might be good idea to see about the valleys, surely someone with a bit of land could sort something out, what about the whu? have they got room?

Could be an idea! :) The stray center would be close to the home of the Union if they had room there!? Im sure fanciers would like that?

Well I know Gail at the whu had some pigeons delivered there a few weeks ago to help fanciers out and they collected, 2 of them were delivered by Pigeon Tracker, worth a try!

Not very healthy for the Pigeon to be carried from loft to loft over a period of time, and would also cause alot of confusion! :( You would need extra people to ensure the address's etc are exact, very time comsuming.

Couriers would remove this stress and still have stray centers to go with it!! Sound like a plan to me matey's......

To reply to every one of the posters going the extra yard to complain that their pigeons hadn't arrived, or even the ones who appear to be the"peanut throwing gallery", would take an age, so I'll just reply this once and when I have more time I'll address each individually to put things straight and to put to rest most of the rumours on here that are based on nothing but spite, boredom or for whatever other reason.

From my own personal experience any courier who faced what we did in London and with very awkward customers giving wrong address and so on they would have returned to base and delivered a week or so later.

We went the extra yard for all our Scottish customers and one from Liverpool, who for the record had his pigeons safely delivered after being stopped at Ediburgh where the birds were fed and watered  thanks to Jimmy White, I'm hugely dissapointed as he came across Jamie came across a decent person, perhaps this was an impulse post by him>?

I wonder if Amtrak, or the other couriers out there would go to the lenghts we do or perhaps return them to their non loft bases for a week or more?

Must dash now, typing from Jimmy's system and need to get back down to Wales to deliver for the satisfied customers who by far outwiegh the three on here who seem to have issues with us.?

The simple thing is, we aim to please, and if that means one or more of our drivers has to stay out extra hours to deliver so be it.

More to come.....  If you need it.

Jamie

my post was to ask for your mobile number to contact you on the road as to find out what was the state of play,as both myself and stevie were a bit frustrated at the lack information at that time.

my post was not and is not meant to due you any injustice .

i think myself and stevie are at the end of the day happy with the service but hopefully a bit more comunication wouldn't go amiss.

we all realize how hard it is to get it perfect in the early days of this venture.

Absolutely fabulous result, my pigeon was uplifted at 2pm. I wasnt out the door 10 minutes when Pigeon Tracker arrived. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Lets not muck about here, I could have came on a push bike quicker. They are only 54 hours late >:( I wont use this courier again although I appreciate the concern for the pigeon this company says they have, they arent caring enough for the customer. A phone call might have helped me arrange my  day better.Just tell people you wont be there until x time instead of keeping them waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Good luck to all who use Pigeon Tracker and I hope they can correct their inadequacies

C'mon youse guys! a solution lies on everybodys doorstep, to sort the stray problem out.

We are paying thousands of pounds out each year to couriers for the the return  of "flops," shall we say.     WHY NOT GIVE OUR LOCAL ASIAN CURRIERS A CALL?  I am sure, that they would be only too pleased to help us out AND GIVE THE PUBLIC A TASTE OF PIGEON RACING IN GENERAL!  LOL.

Who out there would help Pigeontracker, by linking up with them, saving the huge amount of mileage done by one driver. Jimmy White has helped out so far, by taking my birds in watering and feeding them, he is in Edinburgh. I,m from Fife and would help out by picking up from Jimmy, and delivering Fife, and also handing Dundee and northwards to someone in that area. Lets put our heads together and put our own services to Pigeontracker, thus helping everyone out. Just an idea, that would surely work, but only if we helped ourselves. Meanwhile give Jamie and his staff some support, they are generaly doing a fantastic job.

i've been watching these courier posts since amtrak went into administration, and having done the courier business myself , like others , decided , thats a job that needs doing right !! although i admire the present blokes/ companys for trying to put into place a satisfactury service (you will never please everybody), i, having past experience in logistic movements , took it upon myself to try to form a viable national pigeon courier service using past experience from parcels/ packages, combined with a lifetimes knowledge in pigeons, and came up with a real solution of "if i am going to carry pigeons , i am going to try my best to make it damned good", so as you will see from my website, the company is/are talking to other couriers and fanciers, with the ultimate aim of offering a viable friendly service , with competetive prices, to compete in a market , where only the best will survive !! . unfortunatlly ? a few will not survive , or the knowledge/ workload will  be against them !! , we will !! that is why i will not be offering a full time service till febuary 2009 , please refer to my website for any more info >>>>> WWW.PIGEONCOURIERS.co.uk
