DOVEScot Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 In light of all the teething problems (we hope) that couriers are experiencing in the wake of Amtrak, maybe these threads highlighting all the good and bad stories will let them and us ALL know exactly how they are performing GOOD STORIES ONLY PLEASE NO ARGUMENTS PLEASE JUST THE FACTS ALTHOUGH I THINK COURIERS SHOULD COMMENT BUT ONLY ON THEIR OWN CASES
alex wight Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Had 6 birds picked up from crewe at 9.30am by pigeontracker, got a phone call from jamie to tell me. He estimates a delivery at 4-5pm today. To think that these birds were in crewe at 9.30, and then in Lochgelly by 5pm, is great. Cant fault them..
OLDYELLOW Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 pigeon tracker seem to have a good record , and a good customer relationship i think they will succede where the others fail , as there only pigeon couriers probably worth paying that little bit extra for a first class service
DOVEScot Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 J cooper Logistics Although a day late the driver phoned twenty minutes before he arrived, very helpful and friendly, he said the pigeon delivery has taken them by surprise and he has been on the road for three days picking up pigeons :-/
flighty hen Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Can't fault Pigeon Tracker, have had 2 deliveries with them now and a third coming up tomorrow, (may as well have shares in this Co ha, regular updates, polite and well caring, going from strength to strength,(who's Amtrak lol )

DOVEScot Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 i slated them other day for problems with pickup times and for them cancelling pickup . so now i should only be fair and say well done for a pick up yesterday and arrival today bird in top condition. the bird was the one chrisss bought of mine on the recent phoebe auction.

alex wight Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Pigeontracker also had my delivery last night. Kept me informed all the way, and the birds arrived in tip top condition, thanks again pigeontracker, and jimmy for looking after them till i pick them up.
Fair Play Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Jimmy you must have had the delivery before mine as i had a call at 9-30pm to tell me they were just leaving Edinburgh arrived at me 10-40pm (took a wrong turn and had to go through Glasgow city centre) made good time, then off to Shotts unbeknown to them they had passed byShotts along the M8 so would have to go all the way back. I am sure they will get even better as drivers become more familier with Scotland, my friend in the South didn't think it was so big Ha Ha I could not fault the service.

Hope your not referring to me there!!! Scotland dont look big on the AA map!!
PigeonTracker Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Hope your not referring to me there!!! Scotland dont look big on the AA map!! LOL; It was the cloud cover that took out the sat nav just as we drove past so blaming the tools this time, and no I never though Glasgow was that big, last time I was up there was on a New Year's eve and the only part I knew that existed was a bar area in one of the local pubs. ;D Good thing was we had a 99% success rate on returns so thanks to all fanciers for accomodating our delivery schedule. Jamie.
Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 birds arrived this afternoon via j cooper logistics friendly guy delivered them. Overall good service only thing i will say is they never called so had no way of knowing they were coming good job i was in and was charged £35.00 even after mentioning it was stated on the forum £25.00.
pjc Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Send them an e-mail Damian and ref to pigeonbasics site. They did contact me the night before collection and I rang them in the morning to tell them where the birds would be and there were no problems at all. Phil
Fair Play Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 The one thing about PT they said £30/delivery of 4 and the more deliveries the cheaper, down to £25 so savings are being passed on. Ps I think you were afraid to come up last week in case you got lost he he aye that aa map of your must have been used by Edward 1st didn't even have Dumbarton in it. I am going to send you an up to date one as soon as I get my car back.
gaynor Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 i just cant get thru to them and they are not that busy because I asked BT if callminder would have picked them up as I pay for it they said yes so something aint right???? do they only deliver birds as I sell doves and had worries with amtrak which led me to this bulletin board. also few questions, how charge 35 if it said 25 also on other forum they said bad publicity about them and they always make excuses?? if they are engaged solid for 3 hours now at time of posting this they are either pretending to be big but not or dont know how to run business they lost mine for sure, where to look now?
DOVEScot Posted September 12, 2008 Author Report Posted September 12, 2008 J Cooper Logistics now have a dedicated pigeon line due to the volume of demand 01 352 761 100
The White Rapido Man Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Jimmy White recently bought a pair off birds of me and used Pigeon Tracker..... I rang jamie several times to see where he was and what time he would be uplifting the birds, and found him to be a very decent bloke. He called me in plenty of time to get home rather than waiting around all day - excelent service - good value - I shal use them as and when I need to. These valley boys will bend over backwards to get those birds to you....no problem
