PigeonTracker Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 I think the experienced will tell you if the box gets wet the *expletive removed* will fall out of them :-/ The box would have to get sodden for that to happen Duncan and experience shows that with the right cup attached as in the ad we have in the homing world the water doesn't get to the box anywhere near as much as you'd think if at all. Point taken though if the design is not well thought out.
Flyin Couriers Posted December 15, 2008 Author Report Posted December 15, 2008 Hi just to put the record straight we do not use these type of carry boxes but we have been offered them and can get them from our manufacturer if we require them in the future. All our vans are supplied with drinkers, fresh water, woodchipings and carry boxes. Also come the beggining of 2009 all our vans will be fitted with air ventilators for all young birds in the summer. Also our drivers and fanciers are working hard together to make the birds journey more comfortable. We also have experienced fanciers all over the U.K now (One was sacked last week no names mentioned (DOVESCOT) ) incase anything would go wrong with any of our vehicle's. I would just like to mention that we did get our drinkers courtesy of Dovescot so a big thank you to him. Wayne

ChrisMaidment08 Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 yep but if bird only in box twentyfour hours they are fine now if bird is in closed box they are quite but if they can see out then they will struggle to get out thereby causeing injurey to themselfs but i know that

ChrisMaidment08 Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 well who out of us been swigging i know that but if you have hole or flap for drinker bird will try to get out of it :P :P

DOVEScot Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 As you say Mademental. If you get them delivered in 24hrs as Flyin Couriers does they don't need a drink, but on the odd occasion that the don't putting them to a drinker box is all you need. My design will be posted once I patent and copyright it
