Peckedhen Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Posted December 30, 2005 I wish Speight! I'd only had them six days when I left the sputnik open! I managed to get one back with help from Bruno , but I don't know what happened to the rest.
Joe90 Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 with you ring numbers it looks to me they are old birds so .... have they gone home to the guy you got them off, because older birds are hard to break out and will take the younger ones with them

kev01293 Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 CANT SEE THAT HOW THE HAWKS TAKE ALL THE WHITES THAT GO MISSING,SOME FANCIERS LIKE A WHITE RACER- ALSO THEY TEND TO BE FAVOURITES WITH THE CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN SO MAYBE THEY HANG ONTO ANY THAT STRAY INTO THEIR LOFT?
Peckedhen Posted November 24, 2006 Author Report Posted November 24, 2006 I've had two strays trap with my birds over the last couple of months and, amazingly they have both been pure white!! They were not rung so, I know they're not my original escapees but, possibly :-/ their offspring?!,
PIGEON_MAN Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Just a thought peckedhen,as Kev says white pigeons are a great favourite with children e.t.c.they could easily have cut the rings off.
