greenlands Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 For some reason over the past two or three years there have hardly been any Welsh strays in the area where I live, before that you could guarantee every Saturday night, Sunday the local lads would say "have you any Welsh Birds in". Hope you get some of them back mate but I think it very doubtful. This season the federation I fly with must have had the worst losses ever and yes most of them were in Wales and the surrounding areas, some closer to home.Thankfully a lot were repatriated with their owners through various good fanciers willing to take time out to help other fanciers, for this on behalf of the lads and lasses who were lucky to get birds returned I say thank you. paul10121968 Posted November 15, 2009 Author Report Posted November 15, 2009 i had 15 visitors to my loft, season gone by.all of them were reported and i must admit that most of the owners arranged collection or picked their birds up in person.2 birds still remain, they have been reported back in the summer but the owners have not replied to me,so i will contact the owners once again today to see what they want me to do with their birds.i do not accept"put them in the garden"as an answer,so i guess that may be the reason why i have not heard off them.
