Brian Don Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Endflight, my late grandfather , Donnelly Brothers [Dundee] had a Blue Ch Hen bred out of your fathers Charlie Cock via Joe Zaccarinni [Dundee]. This hen was bred in the 50s and produced a winner every season in her 12 years. Donnelly Brothers retired from the sport in 1976 and many of the final team of birds could be traced back to the A.B.King hen.

BRIAN,but like my fatheri think his grooters will be long gone.i remember the zaccarinni family well,do you know if their son PRIMO still to the fore? and do they still have a fish/chip/ice cream type bussiness in about kingsway/cleppington rd. area in dundee?cheers

Guest ENDFLIGHT Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 i only ever got one pigeon from my father,and yes it was a grooter.and to be fair to him,it did breed my best ever channel bird a blue hen SU 73 L 5559 and she scored twice from RENNES,but as usual i fly them till there lost.if someone has her in please GOD WILL YOU REPORT HER she would still be worth £35 in the plate on her return any sunday :) :) :) cheers
