BrianP Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 does anybody have any details or names of the german breed of birds that these two very successful fanciers fly?
Guest j.bamling Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 In 2006 Wyn Cole and his partner, Steve Wheatley purchased every pigeon from Bruno Spielberger in Germany, who was one of the best flyers in Germany. These birds are mainly Janssen with some De Klack in them. These birds have done very well in the Teesside fed, winning the Up North Combine from Adrezel in (2008) after being 23rd unc from Bourges, 550 miles, with the same bird 14 days later. So they are proving their worth. I have had some to try out and have scored with them but the secret is now out and nearly everyone knows!
pjc Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 seem to remember Steve talking about Kanibal birds a couple of years ago before i'd heard of them.

Jim i handled the Up North Combine winner a few days after winning the race and she could have flown it again no problem, and have handled all the German pigeons and are top class , Steve is a good friend of my brother and i got birds from the best of them .
