Nothing worse than buying a pigeon that has a good pedigree and when you receive it, it looks rubbish.

Before anyone says I know looks don’t mean anything but it is nice to see and handle the pigeon and them make your mind up.

At the end of the day whether it’s a good or bad looking pigeon you don’t know.

There is only one way to find out if the youngsters are any good and that’s the basket test (flying them).
