I had a pigeon reported in Holland a while ago and I was shocked to hear that it was there, obviously i didnt really want to pay £150+ for this pigeon. anyway when i was able to contact the finder of my pigeon he was not a pigeon fancier but then had

given the pigeon to a friend who was a pigeon fancier. anyway he was not to sure what pigeon it was and he CUT THE GB RING OFF OF MY PIGEONS LEG. so even if i did want this pigeon back i would not of been able to have it back because he said that he was unable to work out what pigeon this was because he cut the ring off. this pigeon was paired up and its daughter is my best young bird so far! I could not belive what this man did my pigeon!!!!

well its obvious the fancier must ave took a liking to your bird, and decided not to be a good sport, its a shame you couldnt run this up to the rpra if possible or something

Well, i also had a letter through the post and that was how i was able to get into contact more with this pigeon, and as you know you only have 14days to sort this out, so my nan (who is the secretary of my club) she rang the RPRA for me and sorted it out and they too also thought this was not good and that nothing could of been done of it.

Also, the finder had taken the ring off all the other pigeons so it was not like it was due to a leg problem or something!!
