invalidusername Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Well, fair play to the people at the garage and definitely fair play to you for collecting. Fingers crossed that the bird pulls through. Hope he just needs care and feeding.
jimmy white Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Posted April 27, 2008 thanks all after finding the owner , and a few phone calls ,, very, very nice lady and gent had this ring number in their records as "dead in the nest" it was obvious to me they were very gennuine and caring and would send for the bird , allthough , not knowing what it was as the bird was" to far down" to send at the mo, we agreed to leave it at the mo, but between the three of us could only asume that someone got the ring and never transfered it , so if its anyones stock bird escaped [no wing stamp,, but blue marker ring on, please get in touch and while ive just been printing this ;D ;D ;D a bird has come in to my kitchen [i know what it is ;D] knocked over a tin of grub, now all over the floor ;D ;D ;D [the grub , not the pigeon ;D]
