pigeon princess Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 Hi ive had a pair of birds paired up two weeks tomorow nest built almost straight away hen sat on nest most of time but no eggs am i just being impatiant
Novice Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 Could just be the weather. Try giving them dummy eggs to sit on then swap the eggs from another pair and let them rear the young. They should then lay normally---if not the hen could be barren.
pigeon princess Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 Hi they are only young birds o9
pjc Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 she may just not be ready to lay yet, give her time and a change in the weather and she'll be fine.
