big egg = full of egg white

small egg = just yolk

these eggs are unviable

yes seem them as small as peas from young hens

its the second egg of the two, its from a 2008 hen, shes in lovley condition, shes small hen but has been laying eggs fine before.

Please this is no yoke ;D

Hi . Ive had small eggs similar to that one on your photo off old hens about to go infertile .

happened to me last year witha yearling hen!! 1 was normal oher was a small as a sparrow egg!! mormal one hatched out!

ive never had it with my birds but have had in when i use to breed exhibition zebra finchs the smaller egg always use to threw away and put dummy under the hen 9x out of 10 the normal egg would hatch out but never had it with any of my birds had a few bigger than normal eggs from one stock hen but been told she always had big eggs from her old owner
