blackdog Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 went to check stock bird eggs today to see if they were chipping and was surprised to see 4 eggs in two of the nests, i have 6 pairs which were all sitting 2 eggs a week ago, no spare hens in same loft plus other 4 pairs are still sitting 2 eggs, has this happened to anyone before, could have understood it if they were just starting to lay, ie, wrong hen in box, baffled , they have been laying like pullets the other 3 rounds even when it was the very cold weather
