Since the weekend I have had 3 strays come in with the ybs.

1st a Irish bird no tail and a few small feathers missing from his left wing. Seems to fly ok.

2nd A 08 hen bird from Bridgewater seems in V.good condition.

3rd A 07 hen bird from Honiton. seemed knackered and starving.

All birds fed and released next day and all came back Irish bird was not out for over a min he just went straight back in after a lap of the houses. I open the sputnik all birds fly out twice a day but the Irish bird will not come out. Don’t want to force it as I think he been had by the hawk.

I was off to Exeter yesterday and thought I would help out the birds with a lift.

Let the Bridgewater bird go in Bridgewater and the Honiton bird was released in Exeter only a quick 10 mile trip for this bird.

Well I’m buggered the pair of um was sat in my sputnik waiting to be let in when I got home.

i always let them in, feed in a seperate basket and release within 2 days, they cannot see the outside surroundings, my mates method is send them to aberdeen with his shopfitter friend, or kill it !!!!!!!!!!!
