Was the bird wing stamped or carry a name and address ring.

wot are secs supposed to be looking for?

I would say they are supposed to be looking out for ETS rings that belong to someone other than the fancier that is trying to get them allocated to their bird.Surely a fancier would not stoop so low as to take another fanciers ETS ring and try and put it on one of theirs.WOULD THEY.

here is my point the young bird i got back had been entered in a goldring race and if i got it back in time i might of had a chance but the organisers of the race put the enrty of all that were taking part out with the ring numbers attached and as robbie said he had two birds back without their e t s rings therefore anybody getting a pigeon in and knowing ring number and owner could hold the bird back untill it was to late for the owner to race it i have even had the pigeons come home  with all rings removed.
