Guest TAMMY_1 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Would just like to say a huge thank you to Phil [ pjc ] from me and Liz, the gentleman went out of his way to bring us two birds up from his friend in Wales and take one of ours back down in a swap, so thanks very much Phil, it is very much appreciated , a true gent. I am sure Liz will be over the moon when she gets home, it will be a big surprise as she does not know they will be here when she gets back.

Martin, hope the eggs are good here, there won't be many in the race basket from a cracking daughter of Arneldus! Likewise Phil was nice to meet you, sorry you could not stay for a brew but I know you had a long drive, we are really pleased that you took time to go out of your way to help and I am sure Liz will say the same when she gets back and see's the birds paired up for her, and yes the place is beautiful and all around are great views and plenty long beautiful walks and is is lovely down in the canal basin and watching the boats come and go especially when they go through the canal locks, had never seen this or anything like it till I moved down here, Liz took me on the canal cruise for my birthday and it was lovely to just sail slowly taking in all the spectacular views, best thing I ever did was to move here, have made lots of great new friends, so thanks again mate.a real gentleman.
