Also remember to include; forum usernameclass and section being enteredphotograph of the bird(s) - any type of image file accepted (recommended: file size: less than 1mb, screen size: at least greater than 100 pixels) The usual rules apply; - dont enter a photograph that you have already posted to the forum (although it may be of the same bird) - the photograph should be taken within the week or two before the class entries close - dont post your entry to a forum topic - dont post up which your entry is until the judging for that class has ended - dont put anything identifiable in the photgraph (e.g. Jimmy's wallpaper ;D ) Enough of the bad stuff; entries for the first class will open on Saturday and be open until the following Saturday, judging to start a week on Sunday Good luck

Ideally entries are to be sent in from that date up until judging opens - it helps me keeping things together

ribble Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Anything you want i think ? well surely a bird that is 2 is hardly old is it?
Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Am assuming that show racers go in the ordinary racing pigeon classes as they are not fancy pigeons,is that correct? :-/
Webmaster Posted November 23, 2007 Author Report Posted November 23, 2007 What age constitutes a "golden oldie"? Golden Oldies class is aimed at stock birds or old favourites. Am assuming that show racers go in the ordinary racing pigeon classes as they are not fancy pigeons,is that correct? :-/ All breeds other than racing racing pigeons to go in the fancy section/classes.
Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Golden Oldies class is aimed at stock birds or old favourites. All breeds other than racing racing pigeons to go in the fancy section/classes. so since show racers are racing pigeons they go in the racing pigeon classes then like at normal shows?
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 so since show racers are racing pigeons they go in the racing pigeon classes then like at normal shows? no they dont they go in fancy classes and other breeds
Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 no they dont they go in fancy classes and other breeds A show racer is a racing pigeon, just look at the Blackpool schedule,it is divided into flown and unflown,a show racer which has a flown certificate is just as entitled to enter the same class as an ordinary racing pigeon.

Webmaster Posted November 23, 2007 Author Report Posted November 23, 2007 so since show racers are racing pigeons they go in the racing pigeon classes then like at normal shows? If a pigeon has flown a pigeon race it is then a racer. Show racers for the purposes of our show will be in the Fancy section/class.

Webmaster Posted November 23, 2007 Author Report Posted November 23, 2007 Ok so long as i am clear on the rules, the fact no other show on the planet let alone Britain catagorises them as fancies is fine Other shows have classes for racing pigeons, show racers and then there are the fancy classes (usually seperate shows). Historically we have not had the number of entries of show racers or fancy breeds, that is why they are categorised as they are.
