Thimbles

             Where could I get hold of some thimbles like the ones Chatrace has on top of his clock shown on here ?  I think there called " coffin " thimbles ?  It's under Clock Wanted by Westy.

HI TT WHAT TYPE OF CLOCK DO YOU NEED THE THIMBLES FOR I HAVE SIX BRAND NEW ONES WHICH I PURCHASED FOR A ALFRED PLASCHAERT CLOCK BUT WHEN THEY ARRIVED THEY WERE TO BIG,I THINK THEY CAME FROM B.LEEFE,S BUT WHEN I RANG HIM BACK HE TOLD ME THEY WERE THE ONLY SIZE THAT THEY SELL,IF THESE WILL FIT YOUR CLOCK YOU CAN HAVE THEM,

                      My clock is a Benzing wooden case and the thimbles I have for it are brass coloured and square.

HI AGAIN TT, NOT TO SURE IF THESE WILL FIT OR NOT THE OLD TYPE OF COFFIN THIMBLES WERE MADE OF BRASS I THINK, WELL THEY WERE THAT COLOUR ANYWAY BUT THESE ARE SILVER PROBABLEY CHEAPER TO MAKE IF YOU WANT TO TRY THEM GIVE ME YOUR ADRESS AND I WILL SEND THEM TO YOU.
