Hi after a few years absence i am returning to the sport, I used to race with my father up until the early nineties when other forms of birds came into my life. My fathers birds originated from spangle lines (apparently) does anyone still race this strain as i would be interested in purchasing some young birds for the 08 season,

  thanks Mark.

Hi Mate

Spangles originated in the south west and the best stock of them left belongs to Sid and Val Miles who are top flyers at the distance, Sid won the Pau NFC in 1993 with Little Darling and she has now been g-dam to 5 or 6 Combine winners at 500plus miles. They would be your best bet if you wanted spangles that still win.

Two years ago Sid and Val sent 3 birds to Pau NFC and timed 3 in top 21 in the Open.
