Guest Freebird Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Yep, they come in all colours but the most common is black on white. Khaki on white are very nice if you can get them. Does anyone fly these birds as I would be interested to know if they perform.

harky Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 they fly but namely to get from a to b but they are lazy and cover more ground on foot rather than fly THATS RIGHT YELLOW CAN REMEMBER SEEING THESE WHEN I WAS 10 YEAR OLD AND WAS MYSTEFIED BY THEM ,ALWAYS WALKED ABOUT THE GARDEN AND WHEN I CHASED THEM THEY RAN ,BLACK AND WHITE IN COLOUR AT THE TIME AND THATS WHY THEY WERE CALLED NUNS ,CAN ALSO REMEMBER MY UNCLE TELLING ME HE HAD TO SWITCH THE EGGS UNDER OTHER PIGEONS AS THE PARENTS HAD TO SHORT A BEAK TO FED THEIR YOUNG PROPERLY :)
