Phil you sound the like the adults who used to nag me when i bunked school to go to NRCC marking or because the birds were racing. pjc Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 I think those of us who started racing while we were at school all took time off for the birds, I used to catch the bus from Oxford to Reading for the national marking, then used to catch the train and tube to London Victoria when the Old Comrades show was at the Agricultural halls, those were the days!
