Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Chrissy and I went to this show last Monday and we had a great day out where me met a lot of our friends who attended and it was a great turnout with I think about 1,500 birds so it was a packed hall, we ourselves had a fairly good set of results where we won eight first prizes, six second prizes and a third from the 26 birds we entered so we were quite happy and we were even more happier when one of our racer hens won best of breed for us, we got an NPA certificate with one of our young lavender hens, here are a few of the photo's I took, not the best taken photos though but they show the birds. Below is the young lavender hen that won the NPA certificate Below is the racer hen that won us best of breed and below are a few photos of all the breed winners the photo below shows our best in breed bird in pen 2

Guest beautyhomer Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 yes well done nottingham show is a very good show and is always a great christmas getaway some nice looking ASR i used to keep these a while back and brought a few nice ones in from america on a few occasions i may start up with them again as they are getting real popular now Always liked Nottingham but have not been for a few years now. However I believe there was a problem with the Holle Cropper club's pens this year due to not having sides to them as requested. When this was mentioned to the organisers they were handed some cardboard to sort it themselves!!
