A few of us on here keep ferrets. They need plenty of handling and exercising. My hobs are very tame and do not bite me ever, but theyre good at their job.

Ive always found albinos to be more aggressive, anyone else found that?

ferrets are great little ratters altho a descent sized rat will give your ferret a bonnie n sore face infact i have heard o rats killing ferrets and yep ive noticed the albinos are more aggressive i kept ferrets and runnin dogs all my life but due to keeping the doos i wouldnt even consider keeping ferrets at the mo,their great escape artists and id be devistated if they got into my birds, my advice would be to invite one o the boys round wit their ferrets im sure they would be glad o the sport

i used to keep ferrets for rabbits...i used to prefer gills. one thing i noticed is that they don't like to get hot. a nice dry/ draft free hutch...but in a shady spot. kept cool i found them tranquil , clean nice animals. but they're real escape artists and killers...if they get with your birds. weldmesh for hutch fronts mine would bite through chicken wire.

been in to lurchers etc all my life also but if you have a loft a fitchet could enter id be worried as you can guarantee rats and mice can get in there also...y.i.s pete

aye your right u cant beat a little gill for rabbits they tend to be too small to hold a rabbit therefore 9 times out o 10 the rabbit will bolt with gill attached great fun
