Atmospherics/gut Feelings

I don't know enough about it to preach but after heavy thunder and a forecast of warm weather and 'steel grey' skies, I decided to keep what's left of my very small team for another day...

Would the fancy have accepted a holdover or the race being cancelled due to these factors...

I feel for the guys making decisions as my gut told me not to send birds this week due to forecast but I don't think I could have cancelled a race for the SNFC on my gut feeling leaving myself open to a lynching as looking plainly at the weekend it was reasonable for racing!?

Just my thoughts on trying to peice together a very strange weekend of racing across the full country. Cheers
