Now we have the situation that Timbarra has refused to answer my requests to supply proof of his claims. Now ladies and gentlemen if someone came on here and questioned what I had claimed for example that I have this year bred a bird to be in the first ten in a National for my partner and I, I would like a shot provide the details. It would allow me to advertise the fact that I am very good at matching birds by the eye to breed birds of top quality. So why wouldn’t Timbarra provide this information? I do not claim to be whiter than white or better than the next man, I am an ordinary man who enjoys the discussion and camaraderie this site allows me whilst I’m sitting on the settee watching the telly as I am now. Timbarra if you want a good reputation answer the questions, Explain why you have deceived on your posts and provide the details to show your claims. I for one think you are a con man, plain and simple, Your attitude is unbelievable, you say we have had a feud not true. However I tell you this I will ensure that where ever I see you post making false claims or trying to sell birds I will make known your decietfulness on here. Until such time as you prove what you have said and explained the contradictory statements. And i hope any other members who come across such postings will do the same.
Fair Play Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Southener advertised Hongerloots for sale others including myself had not heard of them so the question was put to the seller - can you tell us a bit about them. - he gave a comprehensive rundown on them and his sale site was most professional and a credit to him and he has answered the questions asked. It is so much better to be open and upfront you will get more respect just sorry that this type of fancier is leaving the sport we can ill afford that kind of loss.

Second of all if someone has been wronged by Spencer then sort it out with him privately not in public. You seem to be enjoying this harrassment. I dont think its fair that someone is allowed to be treated in this way just because he wont give some info. This is bullying plain and simple. If you have a problem them sort it out privately.

homebird Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Well you are all getting in a twist,Albear feels hes right to protect the integrity of the site .Timbaras friends have come to support.Somewhere in all of this there are some pigeons that are looking for a new home.As a new member and just starting up it all makes for interesting reading if not a bit offputting.I check the bird sales quite alot,and have noticed that some people are in it for the love of the sport and some to make a quick buck and are full time dealers that is thier perogative.It is a wounderful webb site that you all have got for your sport and without all your contributions ,People like me would lack the chance to collect important information. As far as sorting the wheat from the chaf as regards who to deal and not to deal with, it is down to the individual.Yes protection is one thing but individual choice is another.Not everyones head buttons up at the back so lighten up.All the best and a great webb site youve all got together
