timbarra Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Well after deliberation and legal representation being sought, people who have had birds from me via an annonamous party and directly, 3rd party cannot and will not be devulged due to them wanting to remain annomous. Sheppard and Harris wandsworth who won 70 x1st in 4 years, with their famous van loons i know pretty well and Dennis is a wonderful genuine gentleman!! ( i bought their number 1 stock cock) they came back to me for birds after i purchased these. Mr Barrett formerly of H.M.P Sheffield had 6 from me and raced them while at her majestys pleasure, i was informed he topped the federation 4 times !!! with 4 seperate youngsters . mr and mrs Belchambers, Bought 2 birds donated at charity auction by me. and won with them. Beasant family, double National winners had pigeon from me which i was informed ( by second party) won bird of the year !! A.Barnfield, of Wandsworth 1st and 2nd 20 minutes in front of the next pigeon !!! 2 timbarra pigeons. Mr Thrower ,of Orpington, bought 1 cock bird from me which bred if i remember correctly 5 winners in 2 seasons and still doing so. J.Donovan and sons of croydon bought pigeons from me. Also a london fancier (remains annonymous) had 5 birds from me, one being 1st open guernsey, another winning 5x1st in one season.. this is not alot of pigeons from my loft as this year is the most i have ever let go as i am not commercial. it is usual very hard to get birds from me as i dont want recognition for any pigeons i breed ,just a phone call saying that they are doing well is all. so mr ALBEAR you have the information so now an apology would be worth saying do you not think, but i dont think you have the decency to give one.!!!! i was reluctant to give any names as i do not and never have intended to ride on other peoples reputations but small minded people in this site will twist things to suit themselves. also gabriel won 11 x1st racing in the catford and cumbrian for a mr S.Corps.... happy now . so now you have it.

IF ALL THIS FALLING OUT AND DISAGREEMENTS ARE HAPPENING BECAUSE OF PIGEONS BEING SOLD WITH FALSE INFORMATION THEN SIMPLY A DECISION HAS TO BE MADE TO STOP BIRDS BEING SOLD ON THIS SITE, IT IS CHEAPER ENOUGH TO ADVERTISE IN OUR WEEKLY MAGAZINES AND IF THATS WHAT IT TAKES TO STOP ALL OF THIS UPSET THEN I FEEL THAT IS WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN, IM SORRY IF I HAVE RUFFLED A FEW FEATHERS BUT IF ANY NEW FANCIERS OR POTENTIAL FANCIERS ARE READING SOME OF THE THINGS THAT ARE WRITTEN WOULD THEY FEEL THEY WOULD WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH AN HOBBY THAT AS SO MUCH UNREST.

You can surely get answers you need without making the seller feel he is being interrogated as a potential fraudster. Transactions must surely be conducted cordially, and on a basis of mutual trust and subsequent paperwork should confirm the seller's statements about the birds?

But there is no HMP in sheffied Bruno as stated, so where is the mutual trust, again doing what you do best in my personal opinion

A testimonial is something provided for you to use, scan them and put them on. You have been breeding winners for 16 years, no doubt all those people who have bought / had birds of you have done so on the back of your winning. I ask again where, which clubs and the name you flew as. Guest Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 ive read all the postings on this subject and i feel that timbarra has avoided questions about the pigeons and wins he has had. i dont know timbarra and i cannot comment on him personally,but reading the posts makes him look dodgy.it may have not been meant by him to be like that but its wot comes over on the screen. and its good to see that other fanciers are on the look out for conmen on this site!..as we are in this game together i feel this site although troublesome at times can also be very helpful to the new/unknowlegeable fancier. i think all of this thread on timbarra would have been not existant if he came clean at first hand,timbarra uve created problems for urself m8 and to be honest im sure if u was buying pigeons ud wish someone was looking out for u too m8, not to be conned(not implying that is wot u are doing by any means). i know i hope when i buy off here someone is willing to tip me off from someone who maybe conning me(just like our friend coxy tried too)....paul.

I think the time has come for all the threads with the falling out to be locked by the webmaster or moderator and for us all to worry a bit more about the pigeons.

So who is right the left hand or the right hand or the ambidextrous amonst us who can see two sides and make up our own mind I for one do not like to see threads blocked, locked or deleted as certain things can be both negative and positive

timbarra Posted October 30, 2007 Author Report Posted October 30, 2007 thank you Valance and dovescot for your comments and those people who have given support in recent days i could list quite a few now, whom have talked to me on the phone, thank you so much. when people show such support it makes you realise the good in people and maybe i should carry on as i have been urged to do. if people are happy to talk to me and have birds from me then i am more than happy to provide them with what i consider the best i can give. i shall not touch on this subject again, and albear (alan) i still offer my hand in friendship and wish to get along , i do not wish to rip anyone off and would gladly donate a youngster to this website and have it auctioned amongst the members to the highest bidder so all get a chance to try a youngster next year free, i only ask you pay 50% carraige and i the other 50%.. come on alan (Albear ) do you fancy doing the same? i will start a thread and put the breeding (pedigree) of the youngster on for all to see, the sire will be "Champion Ballack" winner of 52 prizes in Germany against thousands of birds competing. possibly the bidding can start at £1. the highest bidder after 2 weeks gets the pigeon (bred 08)for next year. and all monies raised will go to a charity of the webmasters choice !! Albear the ball is bouncing in your court sir, would you care to match what i am offering and put a youngster up. its not a competition , just a means to letting things rest and cease the arguements.. what do you say ?? i am all for it, regards spencer

I don't know any of the two gents but as said if any lessons have been learned by the site in general it can only make it bigger and stronger

No matter what it is on any forum, if you are going to post things then be ready for them to questioned, to clear up some doubts that we have or be open to criticism by people who think differently On this thread, I raised a simple question about birds being kept for pleasure and raced from a prison, someone from above deleted it. I also questioned regarding the fact that there is no HMP in Sheffield again deleted from above I am sending a copy to the Webmaster regarding the same
Guest Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 timbarra..my comments earlier today were from an outside view looking in.i was just trying to point out that looking at the thread for the 1st time it looked a bit iffy,i can see this has been stressful on u but as dovescot has pointed out ,lately everyone is suspicious about buying birds from fanciers who they do not know personally.thus the interest thats been in this posting of urs.. if this has all blown out of proportion then u must feel awful as i would do.i hope this blows over asap , as this only damages the sites rep even more. all the best anyway....paul.
