Beanz Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 This Tournier cock was purchased in 2006 by a friend of mine direct from Tournier for £300 as a 8 year old and straight away bred winners, but unfortunately due to the ill health of his wife he emigrated to Spain in 2007, he was let down at the last minute by a fancier who was called going to buy this pigeon ( let him down day before he was flying out) so I bought this cock off him, but as he is a long distance bird and with the DEFRA situation and only keeping 12 cocks and having 16 pair of stock I have decided to let him go, due to age £150.Original pedigree and ring card, how many Belgian fanciers have 8 year old birds in their lofts unless they are top pigeons. Fair Play Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 That looks like one hellava pigeon never looks like an 8 year old I think someone could be on to a real bargain
PIGEON_MAN Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Would i be right in saying this cock is now 10 year old,as thats how it reads in your first couple of lines.
Beanz Posted December 4, 2007 Author Report Posted December 4, 2007 Yes M8 he will be 10 years old but handles like a yearling and has filled all his eggs, believe me he is a cracker. Paul
