Sorry, I may be wrong but this advert seems dodgy to me, rings alarm bells of how I was conned, again sorry if I am wrong :-/

I think this member not disclosing where he is from and only wanting PM's, not answering all PM's is suspect to me,  probably scanning for the right customers

Personally do not think this should be allowed, newbies or unknown or undisclosed selling this way :(

He has been active so not fallen ill :)

I think its a shame we have to again go through this procedure of suspecting everyone who does not reply to a pm or message.

Granted 12 months or so ago a member got screwed, i feel for him and i had warned people off coxy three months before this had happened.

It appears from comments i have read that Number 1 will not be continuing with his sale on here after the arm of suspicion was aimed at him and again who would blame spinner jim going the same route.

The best bet would be again to do what was suggested sometime ago and thats to have all sale threads locked by a moderator and all dialogue via pm.

At the end of the day common sense should prevail if you have a lack of trust after communicating with the buyer then dont complete the sale and keep your money in your pocket

What doesn't help remove suspision Chris is that Spinner has asked for PM's but hasn't replied although he has been on line.

Just a simple reply from him to interested parties would resolve the situation.

No need, CASH ONLY ON COLLECTION / ARRIVAL! Now that is the way to go. If asking Amtrax etc. to deliver, then have a post dated cheque. Allow 3 days... time for Amtrax to deliver, and time for the cheque to arrive. If no satisfied, cancel cheque.

DOVSEScot IT WAS MY FAULT ABOUT WHERE HE WAS FROM IT SAYS IN HIS ORIGANAL POST BIRMINGHAM (ME NOT PAYING ATTENTION) SORRY  :-/

I noticed he came from Birmingham but it is a big place

What I can't understand is why anyone selling items is afraid to put any details up, common sence tells you that customers need these details to send the money or arrange pick up, so why the big secret

Another bit of advice to buyers do not pay by Paypal for birds unless you definately know the seller and can trust them, Paypal take no part in disputes regards livestock :-/

I didn't know that!  I thought that I was protecting myself and the buyer by using PalPal when I was selling my birds. ::)
