gangster Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 well done superb flying in the liverpool amal...that took some good birds as the amals very strong but all your birds should have counted as a new record....well done once again :) :) :)
OLDYELLOW Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 R.P.R.A rules state that every bird clocked in deserves a velocity , even if not club rules
pjc Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 You may have a club rule where you can only have so many positions but if you clock the 1st 20 they should all be forwarded to the fed, amal, combine etc for the result. Phil
schouwman71 Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 object matey, they deserve to be put onto the amal sheet all 6 of them, dont let them kid you because your new. les
OLDYELLOW Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 tell them you want there velocitys and the result amending or you'l take it to the region secatary
jimmy white Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 very well done,, the 3 birds not on the fed result ,,,,,,,,,deserve better ,, has that club rule been ratified by the union?
Roland Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 tell them you want there velocitys and the result amending or you'l take it to the region secatary No need to rock the boat, especially needlessly. Just ask that ALL velocity's are forwarded as Phil and Gangster have said. They will and the record will be, quite rightly yours. I
CREBAG Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 R.P.R.A rules state that every bird clocked in deserves a velocity , even if not club rules Is this a definate fact?? Can a club put a rule in that only 4 be read? Hense contravening a RPRA rule?
Guest Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 R.P.R.A rules state that every bird clocked in deserves a velocity , even if not club rules Not sure on that one! The key lies in to how the club rule reads in the rulebook. If if says you are only allow to time 4 birds then nothing can be done, as strictly speaking if you clock more than 4 all can be disqualified for breaking the rule. If it says only 4 birds to count for club honours then all birds you clock MUST be recorded but only 4 will count (and sometimes does not have to be first 4, unless rule reads that way, if it suits you with regard to pools etc) and any pigeons with a recorded velocity, (although exempt from the club result), can be forwarded to the fed sec if they will make th result. In theory the club result would not be the result forwarded to th fed. The fed could also have a rule inplace that excludes any birds not included in the club result.
Guest Vic Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 It seems that the earliest batch of birds last week, came from a NE direction, and you filled your socks mate. Well done, Brilliant. It is an Amal ruling that the first twelve birds from every club MUST be forwarded to the Amal. secretary before Tuesday of each week. But a proposition was passed this year, due to the fact that people with the ets system. had an unfair advantage over those without the ets. which made a mockery of the overall Amal points system last yb season. Personally, I think it's a terrible ruling, and the Amal sheet is now a sham. Iv'e just been talking to Ronnie Seddon, the Amal sec. So the above details are right. Once again WELL DONE lads! An outstanding performance indeed. Vic.
