kaybee Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Highest bidder on thread or PM by 10pm Monday 3rd Nov will be the new owner. Lot 26. 06 Cheq Cock. This cock scored in the club, fed and SNFC from Maidstone, 350 miles, in 2007. He also bred a prizewinner in 2007. He is the only son of the super racer SU04ML4308 we have. 4308 was a winner of 3x1st and 3x2nd(twice arriving with loftmate). All these results, bar one, were done in 2006 flying from distances of between 70 and 548 miles. His finish to the season was simply breathtaking. Having been 1st by 25 minutes from 166 miles on the Saturday, he was our sole entry that was basketed again on the Wednesday and liberated Friday from Reims 548 miles and homed after 14 hours to win 4th Region, 6th Open SNRPC. He was retired when as he returned from this race due to being very badly hawked.
kaybee Posted October 31, 2008 Author Report Posted October 31, 2008 Forgot to mention that SU04ML4308 was bred by Tommy Broadwell(Silverdale lofts) to whom I'm indebted as it's not very often you get the priveledge to race such birds. Pure class.
