Reduction of birds

I have 15 birds for sale, I am overstocked, because of a dissolution of partnership and I love breeding I have far too many birds. In the sale are three stock pigeons which between them cost over £500, brothers and sisters to fed winners, a full sister to 1st section NFC  and a pair of l/b out of  a yearling that was 78th open NFC Tarbes 556 miles. There will be no reserve and every bird will start at £15. For example if your’s is the only bid at £15 for the bird that cost several hundred pounds then it will be yours. The sex of 2008 pigeons is not guaranteed. If you require any further information about a pigeon or the sale please pm me.

The sale will be auction based, each pigeon will have a start price and finish time. The 10 minute rule will be used, i.e. if a bid is made in the last 10 minutes of the auction the auction will remain open for another 10 minutes and if another bid is subsequently made it will stay open for another 10 minutes until no further bids are made within any 10 minute extension. You can bid on the threads or if you wish you can pm me and I will place your bid without naming you.

In the event of any disputes on the finishing time or any other aspect my decision will be final and acceptance of this forms part of your decision to place a bid.

There will be three different finishing times I will open a separate thread for each of the 15 birds, I will attach a pic taken today rather amateurishly by me, and hope to attach the pedigrees for each pigeon over the next few days. Purchasers to pay carriage.

Loooking through your birds m8, some crackers but I must say more than that your honesty is refreshing telling people about the hen being wild and such, a lot would have said nothing and let the buyer find out for himself.

If I am not mistaken I believe this is the Franks & Baker partnership pigeons.

I can clarify that they do race a decent bird at National level.

To clarify, nearly!!! Henry and I were partners and flew at two lofts. We shared all our stock birds. I flew as Baker & Franks at mine  and Henry as Franks & Baker at his.

In terms of national racing this year, Franks & Baker won 1st section NFC Cholet and I bred and have the parents of that pigeon, and Baker & Franks won 78th open Tarbes 556 miles with a cock I bred, two l/b are in the sale out of him. My concentration this year has been on distance racing and I also won to my loft 1st and 2nd 473 miles and Henry who is a top racer won 6 OB racing plus some other very good section positions! The Baker and Franks partnership was officially dissolved several week ago, I'm not sure if Henry has sent in the paperwork yet to dissolve the Franks & Baker partnership.

Hope that clarifies the position.

Agree with Beanz. The late breds I had of allbear are first class. I, personally, have high hopes for these birds.

Very Kind, thank you Roland
