For christ sakes its got 1x 1st and 2x 2nds money can't buy pigeons like that it would go for a forture at an entire clearance sale!

For christ sakes its got 1x 1st and 2x 2nds money can't buy pigeons like that it would go for a forture at an entire clearance sale! paulo understand on what you are saying but has people have asked about the birdage and i agree with them,any pigeon can win with around 100 pigeons but it takes a good one to win with a few 100 pigeons,all they were asking is somethink about the breeding side has thats what it would be used for and not racing.i know tsykes has good birds has i have 2 here from him what have raced decent for me this year, but i would not have bought them without knowing what bred them.? I'd sooner buy performance pigeons like the one on offer with no peds but place cards shgowing they have won. £100.00 is cheap for a bird that has won three chalks I paid £75.00 per YB off Mike Lycett for hells sake. Mind you they had nice pedigrees lol and have won so it worked out well lol.

Guest Paulo Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Yes I remember my dad silly man that he was paid a large amount of money for a direct Frans Van Wildermeersch hen that Frans supplied him a nice pedigree for. This bird cost £300.00 nicker which was a few quid in the recession years of the 1990's. It bred me sweet fa but he never got rid of it cause of the outlay he paid. Anyway a young Paulo let it out by mistake when he was doing some chores around the loft . this was after the old man had packed it but he was still upset and no pocket money for a month. mind you at a quid a week it wasn't going to pay the bad boy back any time soon. Anyway he reckons I did him a favour now really and his first lesson to be when I started up was:- 1. Performance is everything 2. You get out what you put in 3. Don't blame the birds blame yourself 4. Only buy pigeons from an entire clearance sale, or as youngsters, or decent hens from widowhood flyers who have too many. 5. Best isn't always the most expensive if you go to geuimine flyers I ignored lesson no 4 straight away and brough a load of beaverdam crap that all died I could have spent that money on drink and chatting up woman so it taught me a val lesson. I've still got the peds tykes if you wanna get the tippex out and we'll sell your hen as a beaverdam and charge £1000 lol

Good look selling her Tyskes - She sounds good value to me and i would have happily bought her myself based on performance alone. If you want pedigree forms dont bother paying for them pm your address and i will send you some for free as seem to have a filing cabinet full of blanks .
