  17. Well done to "The Fifer" and Doc white for doing pigeon fanciers another great service, anyone who was at the liberation and asked either of these two gents ANYTHING at all about pigeons would have found out whatever they wanted too know, Doc white never ceases to amaze me with the knowledge that he crammed in that head off his, i,m sure he must get fed up with me phoning up asking advice and then normally coming down to our house to show me this little trick or that little trick...things that you can only hope that an expierenced fancier will reveal to you, i've only had the doos not even a year now and i,ve lost count off the number off times he's given me advise that i could,nt read about in any pigeon book !! thanks again jimmy, you know it's appreciated and once again well done to "the fifer" Archie for all the great work he does.

Buy a ferret and an old cage and stick it down by your loft...the smell off the ferret will move them on, you could even let it out for a wander about so as they definetly know it's about.
  19. Yes, not long now Greengrass before all the nights out stop ;D no more long lies in in the morning, ha ha. Glad to see you both looking pictures of good health. Celtic
  20. Agree with Sbelbin...a jack russel would have done the job.
  21. Just been out to check on the birds and " pyscho" is still trying to get out of the nest box to get his beak into another victim.
  22. Speckled I,ve tried exactly what you said already ! if anyone on here has ever kept ferrets he's like a big old hob ferret that is anti social to everything around him, there are two spare boxes but he is,nt interested in them and prefers to walk around the loft floor looking for his next victim. Carl Unfortunetly i don't fly widowhood or your idea might have been an option.
  23. He has,nt got a hen at the moment ...the reason being he attacks any bird that goes near him !! hen or cock.
  24. Any ideas on what to do with a cock thaat is constantly having a go at the other birds whether they be cocks or hens ? it is not as if he is protecting his box he just wants to have a go at anything else in the loft, all the other birds are settled and a few are on eggs so i don't want it to go on for much longer if possible. cheers
