Well done to Team Pit Boys, England on there win today! I had a great race, all entries home with the first being 4th GB, 13th Open... well chuffed!

First Sea Training Race went very well, the first 8 of my entries all home quite sharp, although 'tayside tornado' turned up almost two hours later... might put him in good stead for the later races, or he'll go down like 'sna aff a dyke'..we'll see! Today an extra land Traing Race is being flown from 30km, next Sea training race will now be 18th January... GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!

imo in scotland within the next ten year years you wont have any pigeon clubs it will just be a federation with approx 25-30 members (if ur licky)... in the meantime SHU should stipulate that clubs must have a minimum membership of flying lofts.. lofts that have rings registered to them each season, and non flying members shouldnt count as we all know they are only there to keep the club afloat in membership... clubs that are flying amongst themselves with 3-4 members are only kidding themselves on!!!

just on about fanciers in general mate, who adopt these rules coz they dont like getting tanked every week! keep up the good racing, they will have you down to one position next year, lol

if a fancier in your club is winning first five or six positions and you dont like it, get better doos!!!

got my new year copy yesterdsay, still await this weeks! with blackpool fast approaching i like to have them on time, doesnt look like that will happen...

Today training race went very well again, first arrivals were timed on 50 minutes and the lofts had over 1600 arrivals in 10 minutes! Glad to say 8 of mine were amongst them being clocked within 4 minutes, still one adrift though... this youngster spent two nights out at a previous training flight, it better make a move before the activation period as i'm lossing faith in it!!!

Training Race 08 scheduled for tomorrow, 60km... lib approx 11.00am

pigeons not activated by 27th January will be made available to anybody on 28th January on the Derby Arona website... you can place your name now on there priority list...

last year there were a few unactivated pigeons left over, soon to be purchased/activated by other fanciers... quite a good buy considering they would have crossed all the initial hurdles!

not got my BHW or RP yet, suppose they just blame it on Royal Mail!!! i was meaning show racers, not so much the fancy variety...

this year a team consisted of five pigeons, one activated pigeon and four reserves for the sum of 220 euro. should you have all five left at 'activation period' then they could be activated and entered into the main races for the sum of 220 euro per pigeon (pretty sure that how much it is?) should you not decide to activate the remaining entrants then they then become available to the public to purchase and activate. shipment is by Pieter Oberholster to tenerife, which this year i'm sure my entrants went over about end of May, start of June time.

Liberation of 2095 birds expected at 10.30am for Training Race 07 from S.Maria del Mar, a distance of 55km... The race arrivals can be viewed 'LIVE' on the Derby Arona website via Livestream TV, how proffesional is this... good luck to all who are entered.
