just a reminder gents, that JIM HANNAH, BLANTYRE 'pigeon photographer' will be in attendance. i'm sure he will be a busy man this year, with some great performances put up by pigeons in Scotland... we have fanciers from as far as Peterhead hoping to make it down too the show and have there 'STARS' photographed!

The Downfield Friendly organise a little annual show to raise some much needed club funds, we dont brag to be the biggest or the best, just a warm friendly atmosphere and a great day out for fanciers , we are more than happy with the out come and so are the fanciers who attend, still seems to be some flying dummies around out there and some egg on some chins that hasnt been cleanly wiped off! will the dust ever settle... appears not, do we care, not!!!

Dundee Federation used to run a great one day show on Christmas Boxing Day, this show was always a massive success with fanciers travelling from all parts of Scotland to show there pigeons, the entry at this show was always great enough for our Best In Show to qualify for Supreme Champion at Blackpool! ...trouble is these days we cant seem to get enough like wise minded fanciers to run these great events, without pigeon politics or squabbling getting in the way! ...and as for the two local shows getting it together, this would never work! enough said...

Our Pigeon Basics internet aucion has been approved for this year again, we plan to kick off on 4th December and it will run for one week... great selection of young birds on offer here again gents, no better will be offered this year... unequalled quality assured! Our annual show and auction is generating as always a lot of interest, the amount of hits/views on this thread can vouch for this, proof is in the pudding! All proceeds will go towards our club funds and we hope to replace our current portacabin clubrooms, see you all at the show and happy bidding!

agree there, we have three feds within say 40 mile here all travelling down the road most weeks on there own and once again in most cases half empty... members are being lost every year by every fed in the UK, we must start getting together and keeping the costs sensible... plus bigger libs should mean some better racing! remember the amalgamation days!
