24 arrivals recorded this morning which is great, 12 of which are local pigeons... c'mon geez a Scottish doo!

11 pigeons this morning in the last one and a half hours... good going.

ther was a further arrival at 6.28pm last night, then two this morning at 08.32 and 09.08... 1075 home, c'mon the Scots!

my predictions are based on past experiences with these type of races, hopefully Jose will have the camera on tommorow for the early arrivals, the result will update as normal... good luck buddy!

this is just the first of many hurdles these youngsters will have to cross, thanks for your comments and lets hope the Scottish doos carry a bit of luck over the next few weeks!

194 birds to come... a good 20-30 will show tomorrow going on past results. have been studying the local fanciers returns, most have full returns or maybe one missing, a good percentage of the later birds today have been local pigeons... food for thought all going well i will be sending my wee spanish hen FLECHA youngsters back for next year competition, will try anything!

First one back from my team was the red grizzle Bonnie Dundee 151st, nestmate Storm Queen was 820th, well done to Elspeth Morrison with first Scottish pigeon 120th, will give a full run down later, still birds to come. Today winner was Team Dimitar Ivanov-Vikont (Bulgaria) with Aussie Belle

thanks mate, she is nestmate to the red grizzle... she was looking well when i was in tenerife this week, fingers crossed eh!

stock birds are tested before even considering pairing up... imo the only way a successful breeding season can be kicked off, all very well using natural products to keep them tip top, but if you got an underlying problem they aint gonna be any good i'm afraid, young bird problems stem from here...

prob the barley, try hard corn? have known widowhood cocks to get theh squirts when on depurative then almost like magic it clears within up 24hrs when back on a mixture... but for peace of mind i'd also be getting a test done.
